Personal training takes the “guess” work out of getting results. Each program has been designed to target your specific needs with your personal goals in mind. X-PT has 7 principles for getting the body you want -
CONSITENCY
If you dont stay consistant and work hard then it doesn't matter what program or diet you follow the results will be less then optimal.
RECOVERY
Examine your sleep and make sure your getting minimum 6-8 hours of quality, make "off" days from the gym truly "off" days and make sure nutrition is on point.
INDIVIDUALIZATION
A program must address your individual needs, the body is an incredible machine and no one should be assigned a "cookie cutter" exercise program.
PERIODIZATION
All periodization means is to have a plan, your session should be planned to fit the individual and have the end goal in mind.
TRAINING ECONOMY
Your program will be created with an effective use of time, a training program that doesn't cater for this is probably doing you more harm then good. Get in hit it hard and get on with the rest of your life.
PROGRESSIVE OVERLOAD
Your program must have periods of increased demands and if you never add any weight to the bar, adjust rest periods, sets or reps then the results will stop coming. The body is incredibly adaptive.
SAFETY
Programs must be designed to not put you in any unncessary risk. Training hard AND smart is the key.
